Customer Review :
A nozzle that is useful and durable
I like this nozzle because it can spray farther than anything else, it has puts out the water in such a way that it makes you think that you have more water pressure. As it goes from off to off stops there is a broad range of sprays. From a hard thin stream to a soft open umbrella type spray. I find it useful for all types of plant watering and cleaning around. I like the fact that it has a rubber covering that is less worrisome about breaking it if you drop it on the concrete.
Rating :
Well worth it
It is made of smooth surface which is easy on the hands yet easy to grip to turn on and off. The turning mechanism works easily I like that you do not have to turn it to one direction to turn it off. Well worth the money.

The last hose nozzle you will ever need!
I first saw this at a County Fair but the price was twice that available through Amazon.com. I was able to get two for the price of one at the Fair. The nozzle is super....cuts the time of cleaning off areas here on one and one half acres. I have lots of animals and the cleanup time is nearly half. I would recommend the product to everyone.

Hoorray for modern technology!
I rarely take the time to write reviews unless I feel strongly about a product, if I either loved it or if I hated it. I loved this product! Finally someone has developed a garden hose nozzle that works effortlessly without dripping or leaking. The setting options adjust with a gentle twist of the wrist. You can go from a normal water flow (as it was before the nozzle was attatched) to several options of a fine mist, gentle sprinkling, thorough saturation, long stream and pressure wash. An easy twist to turn it on or off. Not a single drip or leak when it's off! I love this product! I'm all for things that make my chores a little easier. I'm throwing out my other squeeze-style, drippy nozzles and replacing them with one of these on every hose! Buy it! You'll love it too!

Good, could better, but meets the need for a fair price
Product works very well, but is built a little on the cheap side. It would be nice to have something a little better than velcro to hold it in place...something that allowed angle adjustment to keep the sun from reflecting. It would also be nice to have the cable connect on the left side too. So far the device has caused me to modify certain aspects of my driving habits...this has resulted in about 4 miles per gallon increase in my MPG. I really haven't had time to play with much of the other stuff. I use MPG (live), Throttle Postion, Speed and RPM in the gauge mode most of the time. These seem to be the primary pieces of info that mean something to me going down the road. Fuel economy is not as accurate as I had hoped...it seems to vary on the "adjustment" percentage from fillup to fillup by about 3 to 4 percent. Still it lets me see exactly how my behavior on the throttle affects my mileage on the road.
Rating :
Provides valuable information
The device provides valuable information for the thoughtful operator. Some of it is only occasionally valuable, but when needed, facts are easy to get. On the other hand, the ScanGauge provides quite a bit of information of value from time to time - remaining range & trip data, for example.
For me, the greatest value comes from parameters that can guide the most economical operation -- I like to display current speed, MPG, fuel flow and cost-per-mile in the default setting; it trains me to be more efficient -- becomes a bit of a game to maximize efficiency or maintain a certain minimum MPG. Aviators have an additional consideration - travel time (and speed) which also has a "cost". If my time is worth $20/hour, what's the optimum mix of speed & fuel consumption? A commuter might want to use a spreadsheet to guide future operations. Land economists suspect the value of a commuter's time is about half his hourly earnings. Consider working out your optimum trip plan if a lot of your time is spent commuting. You may choose to live elsewhere or find a job closer to home.
The manual is adequate, but I'd like to see a better one -- it'd save my wasted time.
Rating :
Excellent Tool
Well worth the money to track your fuel mileage and fuel usage history. Especially for vehicles without fuel usage meters already built in. Also tells other useful info but not as important as the fuel mileage and the ability to check trouble codes that may be popping up on your "Check engine light" Read the code and do a google search for that code and you can easily diagnose what problem(s) you may be having. If your mechanically able you can purchase the part and replace them yourself. That alone can save you what you purchased the Scanguage2. Also to get you vehicle checked at the dealership would cost around $100 depending on dealership and what their rates are. And after you are complete with the repair you can reset the on board computer.
Rating :
Scangauge II........Plug & Play !
The Scanguage II is a comprehensive automotive fuel and system monitoring device that comes with everything you need and the great thing about it is you just plug it in and program in your particular vehical ( must be 1996 or newer) and it just can tell you about anything you might want to know about your car's systems in real time or it stores the info for later. Wonderful device for people who are interested in saving fuel. 5 stars for ease of operation ! Clark Woodard President, [...]
Rating :
$1282 savings and counting !!!
I have owned my ScanGauge II for about 18 months and it has paid for itself in fuel savings.
I drive a 1998 Ford Expedition and have seen a 20% increase in my fuel mileage since I purchased my ScanGauge II. It has taught me a more efficient way to drive. You are able to see your actual fuel mileage in realtime and lets you see what effect passing a car, accelerating up a hill and coasting has on your fuel mileage.
I have read reviews that have been critical on this unit because it does some of the same things that the onboard computer does in some of the more expensive cars. This unit is great for people that have cars made after 1996 and do not have the onboard mileage computer. This unit also will read most trouble codes and is able to clear many codes after you repair the problem.
Two thumbs up !!!!

Needs an o-ring - my fix
I also found it difficult to get a good seal with this gauge. I first tired cutting a piece of rubber to fit, but without proper tools (hollow punches of exactly the right size), I could not get it. Then I noticed that the old pencil gauge had a rubber gasket in it. I removed it, and saw that it was about twice as thick as what I needed, so I cut it in half with a sharp scissors. Put it in the Accutire gauge, fit perfectly, and now the Accutire seals with no loss of air. Hey Accutire - are you listening?
Rating :
Excellent tire gauge
I bought two of these gauges. They are easy to use and work great. They appear to be accurate, unless they are both off exactly the same way. By keeping my Toyota Prius tires properly inflated I get at least 10% better gas mileage, so the gauges will pay for themselves soon.
Rating :
Good enough for the price
I bought 2 of these, one for my father and one for me and both work good. I was concerned about old reviews of this tire gauge but it seems to me that Accutire solved the problem. Sometimes still some air get out so you have to be fast to press the gauge to the tire.
Rating :
Good purchase
Easy to use and the screen is easy to read. It's a little big for a tire gauge but the size also makes it easier to handle.
Rating :
Good guage
Second one I have owned. Good readings. Lighted. Programmed to pressure in both front and rear tires.Easy to handle

Customer Review :
Works great charging Piaggio or Vespa scooters
I had my Vespa dealership recharge my Piaggio BV250 battery after winter storage. They actually used this battery tender to charge it for me. However, they only sold the Deltran Tender Jr (0.75 Amp). This charger has a faster charging time than the 0.75 Amp. My batteries charge in about 4-6 hours whereas the Jr take about double that (though exact timing obviously depends on how depleted your batteries are). I've used this charger since then and it's been great. It's simple to use: plug it in, connect the clamps or leads to your battery and wait for the green light to light up (indicating a full charge). There are two sets of connecting cables (one is a clamp and the other a screw on) which is good depending on your need. One benefit of these two cables is that they actually fit into each other and can be used to connect your battery to your bike WHILE your battery is outside of your bike - I had to use this feature because I accidentally shut my seat (lock is battery powered) when the battery was out and had to connect my battery remotely.
If you have a Vespa or other scooter, I would highly recommend getting this charger. In cold weather, scooter batteries die in about 3-6 weeks of inactivity.

Tender Mercies
I would have guessed that this would be one of those "too good to be true" products, but it's NOT! It IS true - all of it. I leave it attached all the time I'm not driving. When it's (the battery) charged the green light shines. If it gets close to overcharging the battery it shuts itself off, then comes back on when the battery's charge drops even a little. The design is logical and tidy. Honestly, this charger would be a bargain at TWICE the price. Two things you need to know: 1> If you're trying to charge a dead battery it might not work - you MAY have to "jump start" your battery just to get a detectable amount of current. 2> While your wallet's open buy the "extension cable" and maybe the terminal leads that you can leave attached all the time. You WILL be glad you purchased this charger!

Deltran Smart Charger
I ordered the Deltran Smart charger (tender) as it's the same unit that BMW uses. It had nothing but great reviews and so far I'm very pleased. I have it hooked to my Generater to keep the battery charged and ready as it's Hurricane season in FL. They claim their charging method will actually make the battery last longer, that would be nice, but time will tell. Comes with two end, standard clips and type that you can bolt on to the battery lugs. There is a disconnect in the cable so you can leave it attached to the battery and just plug the charger. The side on the battery even had a nice little plug so you can't short out the battery if the cable is moving around after being disconnected. Very pleased so far and would buy another one if I needed it.

HOW TO KEEP BATTERIES ALIVE
I have about 13 cars in my collection with both 6v and 12v systems and wanted to make sure the batteries are always up and ready to go. The Battery Tender does this for me with little effort. It comes with two different connections and I love the direct connect pigtails for easy connection. One other benefit from having the battery fully charged is that the batteries do not sulfate and last much longer. I have had batteries last 10 years. Just would hope that you would carry the 6v Battery Tender also - I need another one. Gert

The Delran Experience
A compact trickle charger with nicely sized wiring that reaches without having to run extension cords. Easy change ends between clips and eyes depending on your application. Seems to do a perfectly fine job of charging without over-charging. The wall transformer is a bit klunky but all in all a nice product.

Perfect for my motorcycle
I'll keep this short and sweet. I had a dead motorcycle battery a week ago. Plugged it into this charger, let it charge over night, and my bike started with no problem. It's a relatively low amp charger which is great for my battery. Too high of current would head it up and could permanently damage the cells. This charger came with a tether you can leave permanently attached to the battery. This makes it painless to plug in the battery anytime you need to without disconnecting anything. Definitely worth every penny.

A must have for motorcycles
Item was received 2 days after it was ordered. Works great. A "must have" if you have a large American V twin motorcycle or any vehicle that is not a daily rider. No need to go with bigger or more expensive units...this one does the job.

Questions & Answers
Question : Can automotive car oil be used as an alternative for bar/chain oil for a chain saw?
I have a pole saw at the house i use around once a year with a small tank on the side that takes bar/chian oil. After using it once the rest of the oil just leaks out over the rest of the year sitting. Can i use automotive oil as a chain and bar lube alternative so i dont have to keep buying chain/bar oil?
Answer:
That's what I use in my Remington electric pole saw, I've had it for years and it's still perfect. The manual for mine actually said that I could use motor oil. I'd go for it if I were you. After all, it isn't like you're putting it to heavy use. As far as draining the reservoir to save the oil, on my saw that would be a royal pain.

Question : How can I turn my automotive business into an eco-friendly company?
What steps can I take? What other ideas do you have to help me save our environment from a business standpoint? What possible set backs can I expect to encounter? What other automotive companies have paved the way for an eco-friendly automotive industry? Thank you all!
Answer:
recycle everything you can. some stuff you can get $ for.
old tires can be converted into plantert or swings. scrap metal doesn't pay well But it's free$ and keeping stuff out of land fill. sometimes coolant can be strained and reused.
recycling takes up some of your time.

Question : What kind of automotive battery charger should I buy?
I want to buy an automotive battery charger but I am confused the the amount volts and amps it should have. I would like to know what would be the recommended specs for a charger used to charge automotive batteries. Thanks!!!
Answer:
Well You need a 12 volt charger.. That will be what your car or pick-up is.. Some larger trucks are 24 volt (2, 12 volt batteries). If you want to use it to boost your car from a dead battery you should buy one with a "boost" setting. Don't try to charge a battery with this setting, you will ruin the battery. I have a 12 volt, 10 amp charger i bought for under $50 and it charges the battery at about the same rate as running the car would. It is safe to charge a battery without even disconnecting it from the cables with a 10 amp. 4-5 hours to charge a good dead battery is enough to put about a 75% charge in it.. Enough to get you going.

Question : What kind of automotive service and repair fraud are there?
I need to write a 3 page research paper on automotive service, and repair fraud. any ideas?
who is targeted
frequency
common fraudulent practice etc
also i need a suggestion to make it safer for consumers.
Answer:
Targets are generally frequent customers, women, and public naive in auto repair and cost.
Fraudulent practice is usually severed belts, punctured A/C systems, damaged suspension components, damaged lines holding fluids, punctured tires etc. Taking old parts and cleaning them up to look new and then selling them as new parts.
Safer for a customer, take a vehicle to a person you can trust or take an expert with you.

Question : I want to start my own automotive consulting business, how do I do this?
I have extensive experience in automotive sales, sales management, and automotive finance. I have trained sales personal in internet skills and phone skills that allow them to set more appointments, which in turn will allow them to sell more cars. In addition, I have trained sales forces in the “Road to the Sale” for many years. If a person wanted to get into the car business, I have the ability to take a raw recruit and give them the skills to make a very lucrative living in the automotive business. I see other people without the abilities that I have, starting and making good lives for both themselves as well as their family. How is this accomplished?
Answer:
If you are a salesman then get out and start selling your service.

Question : Where can I get Orange Automotive Paint?
I have finished my Jeep and looking to repaint it orange. I have painted my last car but it was just basic black and very easy to find. I'm having a real hard time finding Orange Automotive Paint. Any website, phone number, or tips are greatly appreciated.
Answer:
Depending on where you want to go you can get paint at any automotive store that paintshops use or online. Mainly depends on what actual orange color you want. There are tons of choices. If you want a regular orange, hugger orange, tangerine, pearl orange etc. Best bet is go to a dealership and ask to see a paint chip book or look online at www.houseofkolors.com I think they have a paint chip section but it wont be as nice as one from a dealership, you wonty be able to see the metal flakes etc. Or just type in automotive paints on google. Hope this helps!

Question : what do i need to become a automotive apprentice?
I've always been obsessed with cars, but I've never had a chance to work on them. I know the basics on how they operate and how the engine works and everything. My dream is to eventually become a mechanic but I've read that I can get a job as a automotive apprentice. What kind of skills do you need to do that? Do I need advanced knowlage of cars or just beginner?
Answer:
A great attitude will get you started. If you're willing to learn that always looks good. Some famaliarity with cars isn't going to hurt either.
The truth the matter is that you'll have to crawl before you walk, then run. Meaning you'll be car jockeying, doing oil changes, then "graduating" to changing/replacing brakes. I wouldn't worry about the big stuff, yet.
I'm not sure where you are located, but different countries have different programs.
You should read my article on the Tech's from Germany.
Hope this helps.

Question : How much is a good salary for a sales assistant at an automotive dealership?
I have currently worked with an exotic automotive dealership for two years and feel I'm getting paid in peanuts--just under $10/hr. I know cost of living is cheaper in the midwest, but not this much. I'm college educated, have several qualifying skills and have proven myself a team player time and again. Should I stick with this? Will the pay get better? Or am I just whining?
Answer:
Do you get commissions on top of the salary? Most guys I know are commision only, and would love to get $10 per hour during the slow periods.
